V.I.P.: Virtual Identity Process

V.I.P. Virtual Identity process (2008) is an interactive installation made in collaboration with the collective Xtend3dLab. The art work consists of a sensible table and a frontal projection, and intends to create a relationship between the physical and virtual dimensions of human identity.

Visitors insert their name and surname into the installation through a connected keyboard. The interactive system collects the first 10 IP adresses found on the web, with the name of the  spect-actor. From this physical interaction with the table, the visitor’s data-boby comes to life and becomes form and light, as an embrace between the real and virtual dimensions.
